Story Behind Our Philanthropy

At DKE Pi Beta, our commitment to making a positive impact on society goes beyond the boundaries of our campus. We proudly support the Epilepsy Foundation as our primary philanthropic cause. This choice is deeply personal and rooted in our fraternity's history.

On April 29th, 2021, our fraternity lost a beloved brother, Samuel Allen "Bubbles" Boyd, to epilepsy. Bubbles was more than just a friend and a brother; he was a source of inspiration to us all. His strength, resilience, and unwavering spirit in the face of adversity left an indelible mark on our fraternity and the entire Troy University community.

By dedicating our philanthropic efforts to the Epilepsy Foundation, we honor Bubbles' memory and raise awareness about this condition that affects millions of individuals and families worldwide. We are committed to raising funds, spreading awareness, and supporting research to improve the lives of those living with epilepsy.
